Literature reflects society. This year's Book Week at Jalaram Academy offered our learners a fantastic chance to explore society through characters, themes, and context.
By engaging with the books they read, the characters they admired, and the stories they delved into, our learners connected literature to moral lessons relevant to their age, experiences, and social context.
Book Week was more than just reading it was a reflection of the moral lessons, values, and life experiences that literature imparts.

What an extraordinary Book Week we've had at Jalaram Academy! From Monday to Friday, our learners immersed themselves in their favorite books and transformed stories into performances, artwork, characters, and unforgettable experiences.
YESTERDAY – SENIOR SECTION CELEBRATION
The week kicked off with the Senior Section celebrating Book Week yesterday. Learners brought their favorite books to life during our afternoon Learning Clubs. Each learner had the chance to perform, dramatize, and present the books they've been reading since the term began.
From beloved characters to memorable scenes, our learners showcased knowledge, mastery, confidence, and eloquence as they shared their stories with peers. Every voice mattered. Every learner had a story to tell.
TODAY – PREPARATORY SECTION FINALE
Today, the grand finale of Book Week took place in the Preparatory Section, turning the morning assembly into a spectacular world of stories and imagination.
The school was filled with color, creativity, and characters of every kind!

Witches and wizards
Harry Potter characters
Princes, princesses, and kings
Doctors and nurses
Lawyers
Chefs
Mythological creatures
Hunters and gatherers
…and so many other fascinating characters from the wonderful world of books!
For a moment, our school wasn't just a school. It was a living library. Our learners didn't just dress up as characters they became storytellers, confidently presenting their characters and demonstrating their understanding and mastery of the books that inspired them.
This is what we call EDUTAINMENT, where education meets creativity, confidence, imagination, and fun!
Most importantly, Book Week has helped us nurture something far greater than a single week's celebration: a culture of reading. We want our learners to discover that books are not merely pages filled with words. Books can take us to new worlds, introduce us to different people and cultures, challenge our thinking, spark our creativity, and inspire us to dream.
