Day One of the MS-ECAMUN Conference unfolded with remarkable enthusiasm, curiosity, and vigour, setting a strong tone for the days ahead. Our delegates engaged actively and confidently in debate, with many taking the floor to deliver thoughtful and impactful contributions. This outstanding start was crowned by an exceptional achievement: four of our delegates secured highly coveted judging appointments out of only eight available slots.

In the Historical Diplomatic Committee (HDC), first-time delegates Naythan Jabali, Dev Hirani, and Avon Akai distinguished themselves as judges on the motion “Why the Treaty of Versailles Was Unfair to Germany.” Simultaneously, Yug Patel served as a judge in the Special Summit, deliberating on the intellectually stimulating motion “Is the Consumption of Meat Immoral?” These early accomplishments reflected the depth of preparation, confidence, and diplomatic maturity demonstrated by our delegation. The day concluded with a visit to the Nairobi National Museum, offering delegates an enriching glimpse into Kenya’s rich cultural heritage.

Day Two began with renewed focus as delegates assembled for the General Assembly before proceeding to their respective committee rooms, guided by the conference theme Ebandeli ya sika—a new beginning. The day proved to be another resounding success, marked by an outstanding display of diplomacy and leadership. Our delegation secured five highly coveted judging positions across the Historical Diplomatic Committee and the Special Summit.

In the HDC, Lady Jadyne Avomba and Natania Annette served with distinction as judges, exemplifying diplomatic finesse and analytical strength. The Special Summit was equally well represented by Naythan Jabali, Yug Patel, and Dev Hirani, who upheld the highest standards of debate and deliberation. The sessions were further elevated by Arjun Pandhal, whose opening remarks were both compelling and authoritative, and Hanika Metha, whose articulate and impactful closing address in the Special Summit left a lasting impression. In the Ecology Committee, Divam Shah and Arveer Pandhal stood out for their sharp, well-structured rebuttals. The day concluded with a memorable visit to Nairobi National Park, where delegates enjoyed a rare encounter with nature and glimpses of the iconic Big Five.

Day Three saw delegates once again convening at the General Assembly before breaking into committee rooms. A defining highlight of the day was the presentation of our resolution on “Addressing Glacial Lake Outburst Flood (GLOF) Vulnerability and Enhancing Climate Adaptation in the Mountain Ecosystems of the Kingdom of Bhutan.” The penultimate day of the conference was marked by excellence and fulfillment. Arveer Pandhal delivered a compelling presentation of the successfully passed resolution, supported by an articulate and passionate intervention from Divam Shah, reflecting the highest standards of diplomacy, research, and engagement.

Further adding to this success, our delegation earned several prestigious judging appointments across both the HDC and the Special Summit. Representing the HDC with distinction were Arjun Pandhal, Inaya Okumu, Nicole Muhanguzi, and Harsimar Sandhu, while Arveer Pandhal also served with distinction as a judge in the Special Summit. The day concluded with a visit to the Giraffe Centre, where delegates appreciated conservation efforts through close interaction with wildlife.

The final day, marked by a focused morning session ahead of the closing assembly, was crowned with yet another remarkable achievement. We proudly celebrate the judging appointments earned by Aayushi Patel, Jiana Keval, Prince Kimani, and Jadyne Avomba in the Historical Diplomatic Committee. Adding to this outstanding success, Kenna Njeri secured a highly coveted position as a Special Summit judge—an achievement that speaks volumes about her diplomatic acumen and leadership.

The conference concluded on a high note, distinguished by our school’s exceptional accomplishment as the only institution to secure the highest number of judging appointments throughout the conference. This milestone stands as a powerful testament to the calibre, preparation, and diplomatic excellence of our delegates.

To mark this memorable conclusion, delegates visited the KICC rooftop, where they enjoyed a panoramic view of Nairobi—the City Under the Sun—before returning to the hotel to freshen up. Activities continued at Sarit Centre, providing further opportunities for enrichment and reflection.

On the journey back, the delegation paused at The Great Rift Valley viewpoint, greeting nature one final time and bringing an extraordinary conference experience to a fitting close.
